Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy

  LEADER: God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.

  PEOPLE: We come to worship the God who loves us.

  LEADER: Jesus came so that we might know God, trust God, and have life in his name.

  PEOPLE: We come ready to hear his story and remember our own.

  LEADER: So come, with your questions, your faith, and even your doubts.

  PEOPLE: We come to worship Jesus, our Savior and our Lord.

• Unison Prayer of Confession

  Heavenly Father, we confess that we don't always trust you. We know your promises, but sometimes we live as though everything depends on us. We let fear speak into our lives and try to stay in control instead of putting our lives in your hands. Help us trust the love you have shown us in Jesus. Help us remember who he is, what he has done, and what that means for our lives. Give us courage to follow him and to share the story of your grace with others. Hear us now as we silently confess our sins to you.

  I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
