LEADER: Come, let us worship the living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.PEOPLE: We come to worship the God who created us, redeemed us, and sustains us.
LEADER: Come, let us fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
PEOPLE: We come to follow Jesus, to receive His grace, and to live for His glory.
LEADER: Come, let us open our hearts to the Holy Spirit.
PEOPLE: May the Spirit lead us, transform us, and empower us to live as faithful disciples of Christ.

Gracious God, we confess that we have not always trusted You, followed You, or loved others as You have commanded. Forgive us for the times we have placed ourselves before You and others. Forgive our pride, our selfishness, our impatience, and the ways we have failed to live as faithful followers of Jesus. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Renew our hearts through Your Holy Spirit, and help us walk more faithfully with Christ. Teach us to love as You love, serve as Christ served, and live each day for Your glory. Hear us now as we silently confess our sins.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. Mark 4:35-41
35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

A few notes from our September Session Meeting:
Clean-up from the flood is going well but will take time.
Session is thankful for and appreciates the patience and cooperation of everyone as relocations and modifications are being made for all the activities and the Worship Services.
The 9:00 and 10:30 am worship services will be held in the Sanctuary for the foreseeable future.
Please continue to pray for the Dardenne Church Staff as they work through the challenges presented by the flood. We praise God for His faithfulness and guidance!
