RESPONSIVE CALL TO WORSHIP
LEADER: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!PEOPLE: Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
LEADER: Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
PEOPLE: For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Heavenly Father, We confess that we do not always love the way you have called us to love. We lose patience, we don’t always say things in a kind way. We become distracted by so many things and fail to notice the people right in front of us. Lord, help us to be present where are feet are planted. Forgive us for the times we have taken others for granted, withheld kindness, or carried bitterness in our hearts. Teach us to reflect the compassion, mercy, and faithfulness of Jesus in our homes, our church, and our community. Hear us now as we silently confess our sins to you.

APOSTLES' CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Philippians 2:5-8
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross! -
