PEOPLE: Praise him, all you peoples!
LEADER: His love for us is strong,
PEOPLE: and his faithfulness lasts forever.
LEADER: One generation tells the next about the great things God has done.
PEOPLE: We heard it from those who came before us.
LEADER: And we’ll pass it on to those who come after us.
PEOPLE We are one family, from every place and every age.
LEADER: How good and how pleasant it is when God’s people live together as one!
PEOPLE: Let us worship God together!

Heavenly Father, you made us one family, and we keep acting like we’re on our own. We’re quick to judge Christians who worship differently than we do. We forget about our brothers and sisters who are suffering for you right now, and we hang on to old hurts with people we’re going to spend forever with. Lord, forgive us. Knock down the walls we keep putting up and help us love the whole family you’ve given us. Hear us now as we silently confess our sins to you.

APOSTLES' CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Hebrews 12:1-2a
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
